Who We Are

The Bauers Family Tree Farm is set up to grow beautiful tropical hardwood trees for a select group of owners. Some of these owners are simply looking for investment returns in an alternative investment. Others are looking to do their part to protect the rainforests of the world while increasing the potential for carbon absorption and potentially slowing global warming. 

The Bauers Family Tree farm sits on 300 acres of prime real estate in the Pacific Northwest of Costa Rica.

Located in the southern part of the Peninsula of Nicoya, this land, once covered by rich tropical vegetation, was cleared to make way for a cattle ranch a generation ago.

Our tree farm has once again returned flora to this land. The Bauers Family Tree Farm will plant, care for and harvest your trees on a 25 year cycle.

You will receive a semi-annual newsletter to keep you informed about your investment. Additionally we encourage you to visit the farm and personally experience the project and take in the natural beauty of Costa Rica.
